OUR FOUNDER
LAHD by Amar was founded by CEO Fatoumata Zahrah Amar in 2024. Zahrah has had a passion for fashion since a young age. This passion created the path of wanting to always own a clothing company. Her journey to Islam is what guided her to the modest wear industry. In which Zahrah realized that there just wasn't enough variety for women to dress modest. Zahrah noticed this struggle the most when it was time to go to a birthday dinner or any special occasion. This inspired her to create a brand for women in which they not only feel comfortable, but also luxurious. Our goal is to continue to inspire people to embrace the beauty of modesty.
